It's basically a mini toothbrush with firm bristles to effectively scrub. The head has flex as a safety precaution. Always use a 10X lighted magnifying mirror when using Eyelid Margin Scrub Brush to be precise and to avoid eye injury. It's much smaller than a toothbrush, measuring just 5mm x 112mm (0.2" x 4.4"). Final point - and just like a toothbrush, you use toothpaste, right? With Eyelid Margin Scrub Brush, you use one of our cleansing oils. Do not use Eyelid Margin Scrub Brush 'naked.' Eyelid Margin Scrub Brush - IT'S MANY USES
1) CHALAZION CARE. Many times the inflammatory reaction causes the eyelid margin to heal over. Scrub to create an exit site for the chalazion to drain correctly – through the eyelid margin, not the eyelid skin. Use or Rosemary Eyelid and Eyelash Cleansing Oil.
2) MEIBOMIAN GLAND DYSFUNCTION. Capped oil glands are usually the precursor to the underlying eye condition called MGD. Scrub daily to keep oil glands from getting clogged. Use or Rosemary Eyelid and Eyelash Cleansing Oil.
3)EYELINER ON THE WATERLINE. The waxes of eyeliner will clog meibomian oil glands over time causing dry eyes and MGD related eye problems. Deep clean the waterline at least 1-3X (depending on how much you waterline) to keep the eyelid margin healthy. Use Eyelid Margin Scrub Brush and Tea Tree Eye Makeup Remover Oil.
4) DEMODEX CARE. Clearing away collarettes and keeping Demodex controlled to a minimum is key to getting relief from Demodex signs and symptoms. Use .

3) ALWAYS use Eyelid Margin Scrub Brush on the lash line or waterline (the eyelid margin). Do not use it to scrub the inside of the eyelid. This will result in an abrasion.
